The Oregon Trail Rally was supposed to usher in new hopes for Antoine L’Estage and Nathalie Richard. Instead, the pair crashed out after an exceedingly rare mistake by L’Estage, with devastating results. In an interview with Flatovercrest.com, both L’Estage and Richard spoke candidly about the off.

When driven on race tracks, rally cars aren’t the most graceful vehicles. Tall suspension and fat tires make rally cars gnarly on gravel stages, but when fitted with low profile pavement tires and big wheels, they tend to look a bit awkward. Despite this, every year the hardcore gravel-heads show up at the Shannonville Motorsports Park.
