Tall suspension and fat tires make rally cars gnarly on gravel stages, but when fitted with low profile pavement tires and big wheels, they tend to look a bit awkward. Despite this, every year the hardcore gravel-heads show up at the Shannonville Motorsports Park.

Antoine L’Estage has taken a commanding lead of the 2010 Tall Pines rally after Pat Richard and Martin Rowe, both driving for Subaru, took time penalties leaving service late.
