Icy conditions and mechanical issues took their toll on the field of entrants at the 2010 Rallye Perce Neige on Saturday, round one of the 2010 Canadian Rally Championship. A calculated drive without any mistakes was the key to success for Bruno Carré and co-driver Yvan Joyal and they landed their first major event win.

Drivers and Co-Drivers are returning to their hotels this evening after a day out in the woods on recce. Roads are a combination of hard-packed snow and ice, while snowbanks are minimal, so any big mistakes may be costly.

Rallye Perce Neige kicks off 2010 CRC

The 2010 Canadian Rally Championship starts this weekend with the Rallye Perce Neige in Maniwaki, Que. Teams are traveling across the country to test them selves and each other in the only winter rally in the series.
